Flatbush Theater Project was formed with an idea that a safe space can be created for young people to express the full range of human behavior and emotional life.

In other words, whatever characteristics in the scope of human behavior and motivation that our students can imagine, they can portray. We endeavor to make sure that while here, our students are seen, heard, valued, and above all celebrated.

We are committed to inclusivity, regardless of gender expression, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, and/ or disability.

Especially in the case of our high school cohorts, we find that while our aim is not to be provocative, art often does provoke. Our aim is to let our students create, with respect and support for each other, a place where they can explore their imaginations.
