At SSS she has produced, directed and acted in shows since its inception in 2010. She created and directed an original adaptation based on Shakespeare's King Lear entitled LEAR: That Old Man I Used to Know. It premiered at A.R.T.’s Gural Theater. BA also adapted and directed A Christmas Carol: A Radio Play with Smith Street Stage at The Pearl Theatre Company and a workshop of Ibsen’s An Enemy of the People, entitled ENEMY at the Mark O'Donnell Theatre through The Entertainment Community Fund. She directed The Tempest for SSS for their Shakespeare in Carroll Park series and most recently, BA helped create and directed a modern production of Measure for Measure with co-director Raquel Chavez. Outside of SSS, Beth Ann has directed for the Stella Adler Studio of Acting/NYU & Day Conservatory and is currently directing Macbeth for the Blue Barn Theater in Omaha, Nebraska.

Later this year, her company will premiere a documentary entitled Hamlet Rehearsed, which delves into her company's rehearsal process and struggles throughout heaviest moments of the Covid-19 pandemic.
